Then the problem became that the stronger the hold in the product the more crap that would flake out of my hair later, and I was always paranoid that people would think that I had dandruff issues. It was only recently that I figure out something that now I am a little embarrassed about. The reason I was embarrassed was I had seen it happening for years but it just did not register. I can hear you now saying: please just say what it is! Ok, the key is when you have wet hair and you put product in it that is meant to hold it you need to blow dry it. I don’t know if blow drying your hair activates something or what but it really does the trick.

For some this maybe a little anti-climatic but the bottom line is it works and works really well. So the next time you have a nagging problem that is just too small to deal with as an expert (not that I am one or anything) and deal with it so you don’t have to go years with something like flat hair.

Credit and lending companies are out to make a profit, no surprise right? With that high profit potential it is important to understand that that leads to a very competitive business environment. Why does that matter? Well think about it there a only a few ways to beat the competition and one of the most common ways is to have competitive pricing. This means that when the “bean counters” sit down to workout lending rates and the like; competition often leads them to precision pricing models. What I mean by precision pricing is that their lending rates are very closely related to the risk of lending.

The risk of lending is the balance between lending that goes bad versus lending that is profitable. So in an economy that is relatively stable the number of loans (or whatever kind of credit vehicle) that will go bad is somewhat predictable and can be balanced out against loans that stick to predict profit. This is a pretty controversial ting to state but at the end of the day the banks and other lenders don’t have the greatest track recorded. For instance when the government lowered the prime rate and all the banks didn’t change their’s circa 2009. And again one of the major banks slapped 750,000 customers with revolving lines of credit with a multipoint rate increase early in 2012. Do yourself a favor and make a plan to pay off as much debt as you can so you don’t end up being one of the 750,000 people paying more to carry the banks profit margin.

Front crawl or free is a face down swimming style, unlike treading water, that is one of the popular strokes. The key to doing your stroke right is being comfortable with putting your face in the water. Following that making sure you are comfortable in general is the next step. It is a common mistake to breath every time you rotate your arm. This can lead to hyperventilation. It’s better to breath on the third revolution and alternate the side (right side then the left side). This balances out th stroke and make things much smoother.

Turn your right shin (from the knee down) counter clockwise.

Once you have that going, start to turn your left leg from the knee down clockwise.

Work on your timing so that your feet never touch as they turn in there own directions.

Once you get the timing down it is time to start to generate power from the turning, so turn faster and more deliberately.

I am sure that many other sites have been trying this out or at least have tried it out in the past.

Just for the record this isn’t something that I invented and honestly don’t remember where in school I picked it up but it really works. It is epically good for fixing writers block. Here is another place that will  be giving it a whir: tefterapp.net and I am sure many more are using it (regardless of whether of not I am aware of it. The key is more weighted towards whether it works for you rather than who is using it. Many are probably using with without me knowing about it.

So how does it work? Good question and it is as elegant as it is simple. 1) Start with a blank piece of paper or a blank word processing document. Next, (2) Just start writing about anything and let your mind wander as much as it wants. You don’t have to provide smooth transition from one idea to the next JUST WRITE. The idea is to write without stopping for 10 to 20 minutes and not to worry about being criticized or someone reviewing it.

It is very important that I reinterate one thing about this style of expression and that is it must be allowed to flow. What do I mean by that? Do not sensor yourself in anyway. Just let the pen or keyboard run and run and run. It may be hard to get to this state at first but if you just relax you will get there.

The end result is often ending up with a piece of writing that is never to be used for publishing (regardless of whether it is for formal or informal publishing). Again, this is a tool to help get the writing juices flowing and to those with writer’s block this can be better than a pill!
